They are used in civil and industrial ventilation and conditioning systems, and in fan heaters and conditioners. Once the cells have reached the load loss level that necessitates their replacement, they can be washed or blown with great care to enable partial regeneration. However, given their low cost, it is advisable to replace them. They can be supplied in any size and thickness.

The thicknesses available are 05, 12 and 22 mm, at various lengths, with a standard width of 230 mm.
