For the 48 mm-thick version, the filtering media is flat-section woven stainless-steel wire, again held in place by two screens of AISI 304 stainless steel.
Our stainless-steel filters have a high capacity for retention and for the accumulation of oils and grease, and are fully regenerable. They are suitable for high concentrations of dust in the air, and wherever there is a requirement for resistance to high temperatures – they can actually cope with temperatures of up to 300˚C.
The stainless-steel filters for hoods are stock items and are available in the warehouse with thicknesses of 12 and 22 mm in the following standard dimensions: 400×400, 500×400, 500×500.
We can also produce these filters in oversize formats.
